Welcome to Deus Vult Engraving. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
Deus Vult Engraving provides custom laser engraving services for various materials including, but not limited to, metal, leather, wood, glass, and slate. We also sell pre-made engraved products through our online shop.
2. Custom Orders
- Quotes: All custom work requires a quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date provided.
- Approval: We will provide a digital proof for your approval before beginning any custom engraving work.
- Deposits: Custom orders may require a deposit of up to 50% before work begins.
- Turnaround: Standard turnaround time is 3-7 business days, depending on order complexity and current workload. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.
3. Artwork & Design
- You must own or have proper licensing for any artwork, logos, or designs you submit for engraving.
- We are not responsible for copyright or trademark infringement resulting from designs you provide.
- High-resolution images (300 DPI or higher) produce the best engraving results.
- Design modifications may be subject to additional charges.
4. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are in US Dollars (USD).
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
- Shipping costs are calculated separately and added at checkout.
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed quotes will be honored.
5. Shipping
- We ship to addresses within the United States.
- Shipping times vary based on location and shipping method selected.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.
- Risk of loss and title passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
6. Returns & Refunds
- Custom Orders: Due to the personalized nature of custom engraving, custom orders are non-refundable once work has begun or been completed.
- Shop Items: Pre-made shop items may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition. Buyer pays return shipping.
- Defects: If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours with photos. We will replace or refund defective items at our discretion.
- Satisfaction: If you approved a proof and the final product matches that proof, the order is considered complete and non-refundable.
7. Customer-Provided Items
- You may ship items to us for custom engraving at your own risk.
- We take reasonable care with customer items but are not liable for items lost or damaged in shipping to/from our facility.
- We recommend insuring valuable items during shipping.
- Some materials may not engrave well. We will advise if we believe an item is unsuitable for engraving.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deus Vult Engraving shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Prohibited Content
We reserve the right to refuse any order that:
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains illegal content
- We deem inappropriate or offensive at our sole discretion
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
